Looking for a Process Control System Test Engineer
Location: Austin, TX - NW Austin (Oak Knoll/183 area)

Our client is looking for a test engineer to provide the technical leadership for testing their process control software. Specific duties include the design of test cases, building automated test systems, development of test scripts and configurations, running tests, evaluate test results, and working with product development teams to resolve test findings. Testing scope covers both software implementation and system usability. This Software Test Engineer will have visibility to the Team Lead and to Management, and the opportunity to succeed and prepare for a leadership role within the Technology organization, or to grow into other challenging roles within the organization. The Test Engineer will work as part of a team of experts, gaining and sharing product development knowledge and customer requirements. Applicant will work closely with the Team Lead and the Management team with an opportunity to progress into roles with more responsibilities with the Technology organization.

Your specific duties would include:
- Building automated test systems
- Developing test scripts and configurations
- Running tests
- Evaluating test results
- Working with product development teams to resolve test findings.

To be a fit, you MUST have a B.S. Engineering or B.S. Computer Science, PLUS from 2 to 7 years of instrumentation systems related experience, including at least 2 years software test experience and you MUST have experience with DeltaV.
Experience with Foundation Fieldbus or Hart is a plus but not required
