We have an Austin client with an immediate need for a Call Center Business Consultant. This is a salaried position with a dynamic software company working out of their central Austin office (Mopac/290 area). The pay range for this position is open, but depends on experience, and does include benefits.

The ideal candidate will have a deep background in implementing call center strategies, configuring software to match business requirements, and performing root cause analysis. The work is interesting, fastpaced, and varied. The business consulting team is small, responsive, and highly respected by our clients. Business Consultants are typically involved in multiple concurrent client engagements that are both challenging and rewarding. The position requires up to sixty-five percent travel to customer sites.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Work closely with a Project Manager to create a strategy for successful software implementation and product use that exceeds customer expectations.
- Consult with customers to determine project requirements and set appropriate expectations.
- Design and implement business logic.
- Educate customers on product usage and best practices.
- Communicate customer-specific solutions to technical staff and management.
- Troubleshoot configuration and strategy issues.
- Audit user configurations.
- Document findings and present them to customers by phone and in person.

To be a fit, you'll need to match the following requirements:
- You MUST have experience as a consultant for a call center software company. Experience managing call centers, implementing call centers, or working in a call center, unfortunately is not sufficient
- Three years of call center support experience.
- BA/BS in Business or Computer-related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills; able to handle complex projects in a multi-tasking environment and meet deadlines with quality results.
- Technical aptitude as well as the ability to explain technical issues in plain language.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; prepared to interact with clients and team members at all levels within the organization.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with an SQL-based query tool preferred.
- Be ok with up to 65% travel to customer sites
