We have a Virginia client with an immediate need for a Sieble Systems Analsys This is a salaried position with a dynamic Financial software company working out of their Charlottesville office.

The Systems Analyst primarily designs and develops databases and software applications that support various business units. Work with a small cohesive project team through all phases of the SDLC to deliver system functionality.
Job Responsibilities include:

- Review business requirements to assist with technical design, development of software applications based on the technical design, adherence to development standards, execution of unit testing, resolution of bugs and identification of issues.
- Configuring Siebel application modules and design normalized database structures (Siebel version 7.8 required, 8.x beneficial).
- Developing web applications, using .Net, Active Server Page, and JavaScript technology
- Ability to translate customers’ business needs into technical requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot problems with business software
- Demonstrate critical thinking by identifying strengths and weaknesses of various solutions
- Ability to interact in both written and verbal forms with persons in all levels of the organization
- Excellent documentation skills
- Ability to set and enforce schedule and deadlines, possess superior time management skills

Skills required to fill position include:
- Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, or related field or 3 years experience related to software development
- Experience with Siebel CRM administration, application design and development
- Experience with developing integration with Siebel including EIM, EAI, XML, and Web Services
- Experience developing applications with SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005, or SQL Server 2008.
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint administration, application design and development is beneficial
- Experience with BizTalk administration and configuration is beneficial
- Experience with and understanding of basic network terminology, technology and architecture, specifically the Microsoft Server suite of products such as Windows 2003 and IIS 6.0
- May require knowledge to pass the Microsoft MCSD and MCP Certifications
- Demonstrated proficiency with VB6, ASP/ASP.NET, and VB.NET, JavaScript, XML/XSLT preferred
